Brigit Lilley is joining One Craft Gallery as a full member is September 2018 with her bright and colourful prints.
Brigit originally studied fashion and textiles some years ago and has a M des RCA. After teaching fashion in colleges, Brigit did a PGCE in Art and Design in the early 90’s and, until 2005, she taught all aspects of art and design from painting, textiles and ceramics to printmaking to all ages from 11 to 18.
Since retiring from teaching, Brigit has been printmaking for some 11 years and prints mainly collographs and monoprints. Most of Brigit’s work has some connection to landscape but in an abstract way. Lately she has been experimenting with using digital images – mostly scans of her prints and manipulating and altering them using Photoshop.
