Bookbinding Window Display

It’s Jane’s turn to showcase her work in the side window this month, and she has set it out to demonstrate some of the different techniques used in creating handbound books. So, there’s examples of Coptic stitching, Japanese stab binding and a photograph album with pages sewn together the traditional way with a French link stitch around linen tape before it is cased into the covers. After viewing the window, come inside the Gallery to see the finished books for sale!
