Throughout October and November, One Craft Gallery are delighted to welcome Hupu Jewellery as the guest artist. Hupu Jewellery is a collaboration between textile artists and jeweller Jade Ogden and Helen Stay.
Hupu Jewellery began when Jade came upon some old texts about Andean braiding and, after many hours spent figuring out how to read the diagrams, Jade began to create braids with intricate patterning according to the Andean techniques. Helen’s brass work brought the braids to life as eye-catching and contemporary necklaces. Other pieces available through Hupu Jewellery are Jade’s textile necklaces, made with upcycled fabrics (including many Liberty tana lawns), glass beads and semi-precious stones.
You will find a lovely colourful selection of Hupu Jewellery in Once Craft to brighten up the autumnal months of October and November.
