Craig Eyles is a full time ceramic artist who works from his studio in Frome. His pieces are wheel thrown and then glazed and fired to 1250c. Some are composite forms and others are cut and altered.
Craig’s decorative and functional ceramics are inspired by natural and man-made forms. He enjoys exploring the variety of proportional and compositional combinations that geometric shapes, such as the sphere, cylinder, cone and disc have to offer.
Craig also likes layering glazes to create textured surfaces, to explore matt and gloss, rough and smooth, in one piece of work.
His work will be in the gallery until the end of August.
